| THOMAS H. INCE never suspected, when playing vaudeville with moderate success,
that he would be one of the greatest factors in American drama. But Griffith,
Ince and Sennett are Triangle now. His "Battle of Gettysburg,"
"An Alien," and his early Triangle contributions are real features.
He is a screen pioneer, son of a comedian, and a brother of Ralph Ince of
Vitagraph. He was born in Newport, R. I., in 1882. |
