He went into motion pictures at the time when they were first beginning to gain recognition as a feature in the amusement world. He started with Essanay and continued in starring parts for them for six years, when he joined Pathe. Height, six feet; weight, 155 pounds. Brown hair and eyes. He is married to Mabel Forrest. They have two children.
