DOROTHY SEBASTIAN

From Stars of the Photoplay (1930)

NEITHER of Miss Sebastian's parents were theatrical people, and yet they were tolerant enough not to hinder Dorothy from going on the stage after she graduated from the University of Alabama. Her first engagement in New York was in a fashion show, and later she became a member of George White's "Scandals." She deserted Broadway to play in the movies. Dorothy began her screen career in 1924 in "Sackcloth and Scarlet," with Alice Terry. She was born in Birmingham, Ala., April 26, 1905, is 5 feet 3, weighs 117, has dark hair and hazel eyes.
