| JANE NOVAK, the "Old Fashioned Girl" of the movies, entered on
a motion picture career in 1914, when only fifteen years old. She was born
and educated in St. Louis, Missouri, of Bohemian parentage. Ruth Roland
used her in a scene for a test, with the result that she was immediately
engaged at the overwhelming salary of fifteen dollars a week. Her first
big success was scored in the leading feminine role of the production of
Harold Bell Wright's "Eyes of the World." She is now starring.
She is five feet, seven inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, has blonde hair
and blue eyes. |
