| ALLA NAZIMOVA came to America in 1905 with a Russian company. Played Ibsen
roles with great success. After touring the Orpheum circuit with the playlet,
"War Brides," was induced by Herbert Brenon to appear in the screen
version. Probably her greatest role was that of Joline in "Revelation."
Her latest offering is "Salome." She has been devoting most of
her time to the stage. She married Charles Bryant, formerly her leading
man. She was born in Yalta, Crimea, Russia, in 1879. Educated in Zurich
and Odessa. Height, five feet, four inches. Weight, 125 pounds. Black hair,
