| EDNA MURPHY, with no experience on the speaking stage, won her way to a
favored position among stars and leading women. Her first picture part was
in support of Alice Joyce for Vitagraph in 1910. She posed for advertising
photographs by the score before she entered motion picture work. She is
best known for her work opposite Johnnie Walker and Hoot Gibson. Some of
her popular pictures are: "Caught Bluffing," "Ridin' Wild"
and "Nobody's Bride." She is five feet, two inches tall, weighs
118 pounds, has blonde hair and grey eyes. |
