| RAYMOND McKEE was born in Iowa, and received his education in Illinois.
He is possessed of a wide legitimate stage experience, having served not
only as an actor, but also as a manager. He has appeared in stock in Chicago,
Atlanta and New York, and has assumed many leading roles in successful musical
comedies on the Broadway stage. Edison launched him on a screen career,
after which he appeared for many of the more important producers. As leading
man for Shirley Mason, he created what is probably a record. appearing with
the diminutive star in 19 pictures. He boasts of a grandfather, now 100
years old and residing with him in Hollywood, who was Abraham Lincoln's
campaign manager. Mr. McKee is married to charming Marguerite Courtot, also
a screen star, raises Boston bull pups as a hobby, and is 5 feet 8 inches
tall, weighs 150 lbs., and has brown hair and gray eyes. |
