| MAY MCAVOY attended normal school where she was expected to train to become
a teacher, but accounts of the fascinating life of a motion picture star
tempted her to abandon school for the screen. For three years she played
small parts. Offered a role in "Sentimental Tommy," by Paramount,
which was immediately followed by stardom with Realart. She appeared in
"Her Reputation," "West of the Water Tower" and "The
Enchanted Cottage." Born in New York City in 1901, four feet, eleven
inches in height, and weighs but 94 pounds. Has dark hair and blue eyes.
