FRANK KEENAN

FRANK KEENAN was born in Dubuque, Iowa, and completed his elementary education in his home town after which he went to Boston where he became a student in Boston College. Following this he made his first public appearance in stock, in that city, later going into vaudeville. He made his screen debut with the Universal Company, and was immediately proclaimed as one of the best players on the silver sheet. He has been starred by Thomas H. Ince, and has headed his own company. For a time he returned to the stage, making a great success of his play "Peter Weston." He is rated as one of the screen's greatest character actors, always lending the dignity for which he is famous, to the roles he interprets. Mr. Keenan makes a splendid appearance being 6 feet 1 inch in height, and weighing 170 lbs. He has blue eyes and gray hair.
