| RAYMOND HATTON was born in Red Oak, Iowa, on July 7th., 1887, and attended
school in Des Moines, Iowa. He is a great artist and he may be listed as
one of the very best of screen character artists. The day his schooling
ended saw the dawn of his theatrical career, and for ten years he played
in stock and with road companies. Though known as a dramatic actor, Mr.
Hatton began his screen career playing in Keystone Comedies with Mabel Normand,
and the old Keystone favorites. He is an expert horseman, swims very well,
boxes with credit to himself, and gleans great pleasure from the culture
of flowers. He has a penchant for the collection of canes, possessing a
valuable group of rare and artistic walking sticks. Mr. Hatton is 5 feet
5 inches tall, weighs 133 lbs., and has brown hair and blue eyes. |
