LLOYD HAMILTON was born in Oakland, California, on August 18th., 1887, and received his education in the local public schools. His first motion picture appearance was under the direction of Marshall Neilan in 1914, and later he made the famous "Ham and Bud" series of comedies. After making comedies for a number of short subject producers, he finally formed his own company and has since been making great strides up the ladder of comedy fame. Mr. Hamilton is a versatile star, being a clever writer and director, as well as a first-class comedian. He is a great student of the silent drama, and very often introduces novel effects in his pictures. His droll characterizations have won him countless "fans" of all ages. Mr. Hamilton is a physical giant, being 6 feet 2 inches in height, weighs 200 lbs., and has brown hair and blue eyes.
