| GEORGE HACKATHORNE was born in Pendleton, Oregon. He went to school there,
headed towards a professional career. His mother wanted him to go to college
and fit himself for a profession, but George had but one idea-to become
an actor. After finishing school he joined a stock company. Later he went
into vaudeville and, with his brother, toured the country in a dramatic
act. His tour completed, he struck out for California for the purpose of
getting into the movies. He is five feet, seven inches in height, and weighs
160 pounds, has dark brown hair and brown eyes. Not married. |
