LAWRENCE GRAY

From Stars of the Photoplay (1930)

WHILE working as production superintendent at the Paramount studio, friends, among them Bebe Daniels, advised him to go into the acting end of the business. Larry could not see this and went to New York. In the absence of work he returned to Hollywood and played bits until his work attracted attention and he was given a big role in "The Dressmaker From Paris." The coming of the talkies boosted him to the top. Born in San Francisco, July 27, 1898, he is 5 Feet 10, weighs 155 and has brown hair and green eyes. Still single.
