| ONLY son of a famous father, young Doug Fairbanks has carved out a screen
career of his own. Born December 9, 1907, in New York City, Fairbanks was
educated in this country and abroad, including several years of art study
in Paris. Alter some experience on the stage, young Doug entered pictures
in 1924. The son of Fairbanks, Sr.'s first wife, Beth Sully, Douglas is
6 feet tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has light hair and blue eyes. He married
Joan Crawford, popular screen star, June 3, 1929. |
