| HELEN JEROME EDDY, at the age of seventeen wrote a scenario, submitting
it to the Lubin studio. The Lubin management turned down her literary effort,
but decided to capitalize her face, and Miss Eddy played vampires in lurid
melodramas. Since that time she has had a varied career on the screen. She
is well known for her portrayal of the "home-town" girl. Her best
known ventures are "The Country Kid" and "To the Ladies."
She was born in New York City, February 25, 1897. She is five feet, seven
inches tall, and weighs 135 pounds. She has dark brown hair and eyes. |
