| MARGUERITE DE LA MOTTE was born in Duluth, Minnesota, on June 22, 1904,
and educated in San Diego, California. She was on the stage at fifteen,
a dancer, having studied with Pavlova. She decided upon screen work and
obtained a small part in a Douglas Fairbanks picture. Some time later she
advanced to playing opposite him-gaining popularity as Constance in "The
Three Musketeers." She will be remembered for her work in "The
Famous Mrs. Fair," "Scars of Jealousy" and "Desire."
She is five feet, two inches tall, weighs 105 pounds, has light brown hair
and hazel eyes. |
