ALICE DAY

From Stars of the Photoplay (1930)

WHEN Alice finished school, her mother and she made the rounds of the studios and secured extra work for her. While playing a part in Norma Talmadge's picture, "Secrets," Mack Sennett saw her and signed her as leading lady in Harry Langdon comedies. After working opposite Harry for one year, she was launched as a comedienne in her own two-reel comedies, and gradually grew into featured pictures. Alice was born in Pueblo, Colorado, November 7, 1905, and has blonde hair and blue eyes.
