ABOUT the year 1915 a beautiful blonde girl went to work in the chorus of Ziegfeld's Follies. She called herself Marion Davies. Her father was Bernard J. Douras, a City Magistrate of New York. In 191?, she entered pictures, soon rose to stardom, and is now one of the screen's leading comediennes. Marion was born in Brooklyn, N. Y. January 1, 1900. She is 5 feet, 5 inches tall weighs 123, has golden hair and blue eyes. After years in costume drama, Marion found her true forte in straight comedy roles.
