| IN 1916 Karl arrived in America from his home in Copenhagen, Denmark, where
he had a varied career, from child actor in his father's theater to construction
engineer, soldier, aviator and auto racer. He was one of the first Danish
aviators and is still a reserve officer in the Danish Flying Corps. He joined
the ranks of extras and made his first hit as Slim in "The Big Parade."
Karl was born October 12, 1887, is 6 feet, 3 1/2 inches, weighs 205 and
has brown hair and blue eyes. He and his wife agreed to disagree. |
