| DOLORES and Helene Costello are of the second generation of picture aristocracy,
their father being Maurice Costello, famous 25 years ago. Dolores was born
in Pittsburgh, while Helene was born in New York City, in 1907. After a
brief stage career in George Whites Scandals, the sisters entered pictures
in 1925 with Warner Brothers. Helene married Jack Regan in 1927, divorced
him less than a year later. She is now the wife of Lowell Sherman. Dolores
is the wife of John Barrymore, having married him in 1928. |
