| AS Frank J. Cooper, lanky son of the ranges, armed with a sketch-book and
a desire to be a commerical artist, he arrived in Hollywood This venture
wasn't successful, so he joined the ranks of aspiring extras, where he worked
for over a year before making his first screen hit. Three years of his early
education was acquired in England. Injured at 15, he returned to his father's
ranch to regain his health. Born in Helena, Montana, May 7, 1901, he is
6 feet 2, weighs 180 and has black hair and dark blue eyes. |
