| ETHEL CLAYTON was born in Champaign, Illinois, November 8, 1890, and educated
at St. Elizabeth's Convent, Chicago. After graduation, she obtained an engagement
with a stock company. Her first dramatic success was in "The Lion and
the Mouse." Later she appeared in "The Country Boy," and
it was while she was playing in this production that she attracted the attention
of the film producers. Her first appearance on the screen was in "When
the Earth Trembled." She is five feet, five inches tall, weighs 130
pounds, has red gold hair and grey eyes. |
