| ALICE CALHOUN was born in Cleveland, Ohio, November 24, 1903, and was educated
under the direction of private tutors. At sixteen she made her debut before
the camera as a bridesmaid in "How Could You, Caroline?" She played
small parts until her appearance in "The Thirteenth Chair" which
was her first real chance. Her rise as a favorite has been rapid: The first
picture in which she was starred was "Princess Jones." She has
written several stories herself, and, accordingly, is especially gifted
in visualizing the creations of authors. She has brown hair and eyes. |
