| MAE BUSCH is an Australian by birth, but was educated in New Jersey. Her
original ambition was to become a singer. She began her career in vaudeville.
She made her first big hit on the screen in "The Devil's Pass-Key,"
a picture directed by Erich von Stroheim. She was given her greatest opportunity
in pictures in Maurice Tourneur's production of "The Christian."
Her parents were theatrical people, known as the Busch-DeVore Trio. She
is about twenty-eight years old, is five feet, five inches tall, weighs
130 pounds, and has black hair and grey eyes. |
