| THIS droll Swedish comic has been in pictures since 1926, beginning in silents
with Paramount. He did not become famous until after his talkie debut in
"The Cock Eyed World." In 1924 he married Flo Bert and the team
of Brendel and Bert was well-known in Shubert revues and vaudeville. Brendel
was born in Philadelphia, Pa., March 25, 1896. He has light hair, is 5 feet,
9 inches tall, and his wide blue eyes are comic assets. El attended the
University of Pennsylvania, tool Real name-Elmer, and favorite sport-baseball. |
