until he was starred by DeMille in 1925, notably in "The Volga Boatman."
Bill was born in Cambridge, Ohio in 1898, and since 1921 has been in pictures.
He is 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighs 170 pounds and has blond hair and blue
eyes. In 1921 he married Ruth Miller, an actress. They were later divorced.
His second wife was Elinor Faire, who divorced him in 1929. He has a son,
born in 1922, by his first wife. Bill is admired in he-man roles. |
