| THE eldest daughter of Richard Bennett was born in New York City, in October,
1905. After attending several fashionable schools she was presented to society
by her parents. At one of the Equity balls she met Samuel Goldwyn, who offered
her a screen test. That started her career. In 1921 she eloped with Chester
Moorehead, son of a Chicago surgeon. This marriage was annulled. In November,
1925, she eloped with millionaire Phil Plant and divorced him in 1929. Connie
is 5 feet 4, weighs 112 and has golden hair and blue eyes. |
