| BILLY, as he is popularly called, is a Los Angeles boy, who graduated from
the Los Angeles Harvard Military School in 1925. He was president of the
dramatic club there, and just two weeks after leaving he got his first work
in the movies. He started as an extra, but it wasn't long before he was
promoted to better roles. He was born May 2, 1908, is 5 feet 11 1/4 inches,
weighs 145 and has brown hair and grey eyes. He is still a bachelor and
lives with his mother. Tennis, swimming and horseback riding are his favorite
sports. |
