ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND, was the birthplace of this comedian. 29 years ago. He won international fame by skillfully impersonating Kipps in the picturized version of H. G. Wells novel of the same name. Appeared in theaters in Scotland, London and France before Charles Chaplin advised him to go to Hollywood and try the movies. George took Charlie's tip and has been cinematically cutting-up since then. He is 5 feet, 6 inches, weighs 145 and has dark brown hair and brown eyes. He is married and has one daughter.
