| GEORGE ARLISS was born in London. April 10, 1868. He made his 111 stage
appearance in London, in 1887, in "The Wild Rabbit." While playing
with Mrs. Patrick Campbell, he came to America and toured as a member of
her company in 1901. He appeared in the leading roles in "Disraeli,"
'The Devil," and "The Green Goddess" on both the stage and
screen. Other screen offerings are "The Ruling Passion," "The
Man Who Played God" and "Twenty Dollars a Week." He is five
feet, nine inches tall, and weighs 140 pounds. Gray hair and brown eyes.
