JIMMIE ADAMS

JIMMIE ADAMS was born in Paterson, New Jersey, on October 4th, 1895, and educated in that city. Mr. Adams, though now known as one of the foremost screen comedians, began his professional career as a choir boy. With experience gained in this way he branched out into concert work and then became a headliner in vaudeville. Finally the lure of the films proved too great, and Jimmie made his appearance in the "Sunshine Comedies" made by the William Fox Company. Mr. Adams is a student of screen art and has recently scored a big personal hit appearing in Christie Comedies made up in blackface. He is an enthusiastic golfer and has beaten many of his brother players in a round on the Hollywood links. He is 5 feet 8 inches in height, weighs 145 lbs., and has brown hair and brown eyes.
